Nerdy for Halloween!

Matt and I did NOT dress up as nerds for our first Halloween together... haha we just went as ourselves and people mistook us for nerds... :)  Just kidding! We had so much fun dressing up. It is an easy costume but so so much fun!! We went to a Halloween dance with our some of our friends. We actually went with Danny Paniagua, the boy who introduced Matt and I.
My hair was really huge in pig tails... lol Really nerdy but that is kinda normal for me. I LOVE Matt's suspenders!! haha I told him he should wear them everyday. Maybe he'll listen to my advice. :)
Isn't this hat AMAZING?!? It is an umbrella - but on your head. haha

My friend Liz Larsen and her boyfriend Tyler came a long with us.

Kevin's Battle of the Bands

This was such a great show! Kevin's original band, The Continentals, weren't able to play so they got a few of the people in their band and added a few more random people. It ended up being really great still. I love their music and supporting them!
Matt even came up to support my brother. :) This is my favorite picture of us together!!
Kevin was awesome and got everyone excited when he sang and played 'Wake Up' by Arcade Fire.

Brad and Dierks with my girls!

This was without a doubt the BEST concert I have EVER been to! I am such a huge fan of Brad Paisley and we got to see him!! He is such a good performer and Dierks Bentley was way Awesome too! Kami Vincent invited me to go with her because she won her tickets! Bekkah Morley and Chenille Askew were also going so we met up with them. We all dressed up country and had so much fun together!
Yes, we know we are nerdy. :) We just couldn't help how excited we were!
The concert is just about it start!! I can't sit still here just so you know... We were way excited!!
Brad Paisley is just right back there behind us... :) SO amazing!!

Going Country Dancing with Matt

Matt and I go country dancing together in provo every Wednesday night. I have always loved swing dancing and I am so glad that Matt is liking it too! I look forward to going every week with him.  Mostly just because I love spending time with him but also because we are getting pretty darn good at dancing together. ;) haha
These pictures were taken just before dancing one night! We were way excited!! We'll have to get some pictures of us actually dancing sometime.

Utah State - I miss Tiann and Bekkah!!

Utah State University really seems like an incredible school. I had so much fun visiting Tiann Post and Rebekkah up there. They are both my friends from China. We always had so much fun together in China and I missed them a lot when we all got home. Tiann is from Idaho so it is nice to be able to see her every once in a while. She is definitely one of my very best friends.
We all went to a Jello slide!! I had never done anything like that before. We were so sticky and gross afterwards but it was so worth it. I really love fun creative ideas like that. The environment in Logan kinda reminded me a little bit of Rexburg. I will always love BYU-Idaho the best though. :)
We had to clean up after the sticky Jello slide! It was sooooo hard fitting five girls in one abnormally small shower! lol We had fun, but I am thankful I don't have to do that all the time.
Shi Bi taught us how to make dumplings and homemade noodles!! I love Chinese food so much. It was fun trying to speak to him cause he had barely gotten to America from China a few weeks earlier.
We even got to go to these really nice hot springs up near bear lake where Tiann is from! I love these girls so much!!

Oh boy! I am a lucky girl. :)

Just one month after getting back from China, I met Matt Hall. I immediately knew I wanted to spend more time with him and we have been dating ever since. He just had a really great first impression... ;) let me tell you. So... tomorrow makes it three months to the day when we first met.

These are our first pictures taken together. We were on our way to a 40's dance at the Salt Lake Community College and my mom was brilliant enough to pull out the camera.

Yes, I really like the blogging thing.

Ever since I got back from China, I have been wanting to start my own blog at home. Well everyone, here it is. This is the blog about my life and opinions about it.

I am living at home with my family right now! :) I am so happy and thankful to be with them again. I really missed everyone a lot while I was gone. It was incredibly wild to see sierra again! She is getting so big and responsible. She had her baptism just one week after I got home. It was so great to be home and get to be there for such a special moment in her life. I am really proud of her for making the decision to be baptized and having such a excitement and eagerness for it.
She was baptized on the 4th of July! It was pretty fun for her to have all kinds of attention and fireworks on her special day. We went to the Stadium of fire as a family for the first time ever to celebrate. As much as my brother and I just LOVE the Jonas Brothers... (cough) Sierra was really really excited!! She sang to all the songs and the fireworks were absolutely unbelievable. I had never seen anything like it in all of my life.
The most amazing thing about being to the Stadium of Fire, for me, was definitely how patriotic everything was. I had never been surrounded by thousands of people all singing the national anthem. I had never seen an American flag that was so huge it filled the sky. I had never had the opportunity to hear Glenn Beck speak about our country with such love, passion, and hope. He spoke of our founding fathers and the blessings we have because of them. Now you have to realize that I just got home from China a week before. I had been living in another country and was so happy to be home. I was overwhelmed with love for my country when Glenn spoke. I cried and found the deepest desire to fight for the beautiful blessings God has given us.

I cannot begin to describe how great it was to see my little brother Spencer again. I think I may have missed him the very most while I was gone. He is improving astoundingly everyday and I am constantly learning from him. He is becoming more curious and independent. He lets me play with him more which is so fun for me.
